The Fielding ADU Orange County Guarantee
We put our name on every addition, garage conversion, and ADU we build in Orange County, and we back that name with paper. The Garrison Standard has been our operating rule since 2006, and it comes down to this: you get a written price before the first nail is driven, a written one-year guarantee on the finished work, and a crew that shows up background-checked and in uniform. If something we built fails inside that year, we come back and fix it at no charge. That is not a slogan. It is the guarantee Reed Calloway signs his name to on every project.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship defects for a full 365 days. The Garrison Standard covers what our hands built; if a wall settles wrong, a door binds, or a roofline sags because of our work, we return and correct it at no charge.
- Written guarantee on paper, not a handshake. Before we start, you get a document that spells out exactly what is covered, how long it runs (one full year), and how we make it right if something fails.
- Written price before any work starts. The number you approve on day one is the number on the final invoice. No change orders, no “we discovered” surcharges, no surprises.
- Free second visit if the work fails inside the year. You call, we schedule the return trip, and the correction costs you nothing. Not a trip fee, not a diagnostic fee, nothing.
- Background-checked, uniformed crew on site. Every technician is verified before they set foot on your property, and they arrive in Fielding ADU uniform so you know exactly who is walking your lot.
- Live-person phone coverage around the clock. You call at noon or midnight, a human picks up. No voicemail, no callback queue, no automated maze.
- Clean job site at close of every workday. The Garrison Code says leave it clean, and that is part of the guarantee: materials staged, debris hauled, the property left the way a neighbor would leave it.
- Permit and inspection handling on every project. We pull the permits, schedule the inspections, and stand behind the fact that the project is built square and by the book.
Our Satisfaction Promise
Here is the process if you are not happy with something we built. Step one: you call (424) 577-4306 and tell us what is wrong. A live person answers. Step two: we send a Fielding ADU crew member to look at the issue, usually within days, and we diagnose it against the written guarantee you already hold. Step three: if the problem falls under the 365-day workmanship coverage, we schedule the repair and complete it at no charge. Reed Calloway has run jobs in Orange County long enough to know that a builder’s reputation is built one callback at a time, so we do not argue about the guarantee. We wrote it down precisely so there would be nothing to argue about. If the work failed because of us, we fix it. If it failed because of a product defect, we handle the parts handling and coordinate with the manufacturer, and you do not get stuck in a finger-pointing loop. The goal is simple: when the job is done, you should be able to recommend us to a neighbor without hesitating. If you cannot, we have more work to do, and it is on us.
Licensed & Insured Backing

Paper guarantees are only as good as the company standing behind them, and the reality in Orange County is that ADU construction involves structural work, electrical, plumbing, and foundations. That is why we carry state licensing and general liability insurance as the financial backing behind every written guarantee we hand out. If our work damages your property or injures someone, our insurance responds, not your homeowner’s policy. If a subcontractor we bring on site causes a problem, it is our responsibility to make it right, and our insurance covers the correction. Licensing means the state has verified that we know the building codes and can legally pull permits in the municipalities we serve. Insurance means you are not left holding the bag if something goes sideways. Together, they are the difference between a contractor and a guy with a truck and a business card. When we say the Garrison Standard has stood since 2006, this is what we mean: real backing, real coverage, and a real person named Reed Calloway who answers when you call.
